According to Kids Crown, South Florida Parenting Magazine and the Sun-sentinel, Hollywood Beach’s Broadwalk is the best kept secret in Broward County.
Here is what they have to say about our great little beach Hometown:
Nestled between lively Fort Lauderdale Beach and hectic Miami Beach sits a one-of-a-kind area meant for the more leisurely crowd. Hollywood Beach’s Broadwalk is a brick-paved road that stretches nearly 2.5 miles. Whether using the Broadwalk for jogging, biking, rollerblading or running, beach-goers are just steps away from the sand and have an amazing view of the ocean. In addition to the mom-and-pop shops and restaurants that line the Broadwalk, there are three oceanfront playgrounds, a play fountain, paddleball courts and an amphitheater where live music is performed several nights a week.
If you are looking for more information when you get there, the Welcome Center is located between Johnson St. and Michigan street at 1100 N. Broadwalk.
