The New Orleans Saints are coming this weekend. Along with the Indianapolis Colts. But it is not the teams so much that everyone is concerned with, its the fans. While the area as a whole was really looking forward to a Vikings vs. Jets line up (Cold weather cities love it down here in sunny South Florida in February) no one is complaining about the flock of fans on their way this weekend to fill up the bars, restaurants and hotels for a weekend of non-stop super bowl madness.
New Orleans fans wrote an open letter to Miami, prepping the town for what to expect…
"New Orleans was a drinking town long before the Saints drove us to drink. But it turns out beer tastes better when you’re winning. (Who knew?) So let’s just say we’re thirsty for more than a championship; adjust your stockpiles accordingly."
Not to mention that it is Mardi Gras season up in the Big Easy right now. That party is coming straight down to the sunshine capital of the USA.
And don’t be surprised if there are more Saints fans outside the stadium than inside. Many fans will be coming just to say they were part of history.
So get ready folks. The party is on its way!
